Terms and conditions for individual reservations

Bookings, Cancellation and charges. 

Cancellation policy for individuals: The Northern Comfort Inn will charge for one-night in the case of late cancellation and full stay charge for a no show. Standard cancellation is up to 48 hours prior to arrival. The Nothern Comfort Inn reserves the right to charge credit cards before or on they day of arrival.

 

Please note that with bookings made at discounted rates or other special offers, other policies may apply.

 

Rate information

All quoted rates include VAT, local taxes and 333 ISK lodging tax.

 

Hotel regulations about check-in and check-out

Check-in time is any time after 15.00 pm.

 

Check-out time is any time before 11.00 am.

 

Minimum age of guests

Guests need to be at least 18 years old to make a reservation with us. This does not apply to guests under the age of 18 accompanied by an adult.

 

Force majeure

Brimnes hotel cannot be held responsible for delays or cancellations that are caused by events that are beyond its reasonable control.

 

Accepted Credit Cards

American Express, Visa, Euro/MasterCard, Diners Club, Maestro.

The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.

 

Disputes

All legal disputes will be interpreted in accordance with Icelandic law. In the event of a dispute or if someone believes that he/she has a claim against The Northern Comfort Inn based on terms and conditions, such a dispute or claim will be referred to Icelandic courts.

 

Confidentiality

Information from the guests will not be passed on to third parties under any circumstances.
